New Home, New Foot, New Blog

In honor of my new apartment and my new foot, I have started this blog to document my explorations into art and teaching. I am finally back in sneakers, after spending two months of the 09 summer in a foot cast, unable to get around without assistance from my wonderful friends and family. While that made working in my Pine St. studio off-limits, I had lots of time to play in my home painting-corner. I used what limited materials I had on hand (included left-over supplies from a recent pop-up workshop) and designed these mini heart pop-up pages. With hopes of sending healing energy to my foot, I added favorite quotes from the Baha’i Writings. I’m still deciding if each pop-up page will become a stand-alone card, or whether I will put them together into one or more small books.
